Welcome to our prop rental service!
Kindly review the terms and conditions outlined below to guarantee a smooth and clear process. In order to rent from Table Wear Props you must be in accordance with the term and conditions.
1-Costumer
Browse our props on the online catalog. Select the items you need, than send us an e-mail with a print screen or link of your checkout shopping cart and the following information:
Project name
Our details (or company details)
Datas of use
Quantities required (if applied)
After revising these information an e-mail will be sent with a quote and availability.
2- Hire period
The standard hire period is two day minimum. For example, if you hire props on a Tuesday, they should be returned by the following Thursday. The hire period can be extended for up to 12 weeks. Special prices will be applied for long duration rentals, longer than 2 weeks.
Pick up day and return day are charged together like one single day. Weekends will not be charged.
3-Agreement
For each hire, a rental agreement (referred to as the "rental agreement") must be executed. To be valid, it must be signed by both parties. This also applies to accessory restrictions, modifications, or addendums. The acceptance of a written quotation presented to the client is equivalent to the acceptance of a rental agreement.
4-Payment
Full payment for the rental must be made either prior to or at the time of collecting the items. In case of extended rental period the payment for the extra time should be placed on the new booking or in the returning of the props ( in case the extra prop rental time is unclear by the production).
Table Wear Props accepts cash, bank transfer and MbWay as payment for an order. Payment can not be done through the website.
5-Props conditions
You rent the props for their appearance, and all we ask is that they are returned in the same condition. All rented props must be returned in the same condition in which they were collected. On the day of collection, photographs will be taken of each item for reference and shared with the client.
All props must be returned clean and free of food remnants or debris. Otherwise, an additional cleaning fee will be applied.
Renter assumes full responsibility for lost or damaged goods including those while in transit and must pay for the repairs or the replacement value as assessed by Table Wear Props
6-Returning props
Please reuse and return all packing materials—straps, crates, bubble wrap, and bags. Pack everything back up just like we sent it to you, so we can avoid any damage.
Once your props are returned, we process them to ensure nothing is missing, damaged, or in excess.
In the case of late returns, if the returned deadline date is missed, the customer will be charged an additional rental fee until the items are returned.
7-Loss
If any items are missing, we will notify you by sending an outstanding props checklist. We understand that finding missing items can be difficult, so we allow up to 1 week for the prop to be returned. After this period, we will issue an invoice for the lost item. We prefer to have the items returned, so if you locate the item later, we will provide a refund.
8-Damage
We understand accidents happen, and sometimes props get damaged or soiled during the rental period. To ensure fairness when assessing damage costs, we want to explain our process clearly.
Regardless of the condition, please return the prop to us for evaluation. We classify damage into categories such as broken, damaged, repairable, cleaning, and laundry. The charge is determined by the extent of the damage and how long the repair will take. We base the charge on the risk value or a percentage of it.
In all cases, you are paying a risk value, not the purchase price. Paying this fee does not grant ownership of the damaged items at any time.
9-Modification Restrictions
The rented items must not be altered, painted, or modified.
10-Refunds
Unfortunately, once the rentals have been collected we are unable to issue refunds, even if the item is not used.

Who is Table Wear Props intended for?
Basically for any audiovisual production, from photo shoots, editorial & advertising, commercials, features, television & small events.
Is it possible to extend the rental period?
Need more time? no problem! As long as this is notified 24 hours before the set return date, the return date will be cancelled and a new date will be set, the payment for the extra time should be placed on the new booking or in the returning of the props ( in case the extra prop rental time is unclear by the production).
What happens if I break or lose an item?
We understand, accidents happen! If something gets damaged or goes missing, just send us an email detailing the issue. Renter assumes full responsibility for lost or damaged goods including those while in transit and must pay for the repairs or the replacement value as assessed by Table Wear Props. We’ll work with you to find the best solution quickly and smoothly, as our goal is to ensure the best rental experience for you.
Do you have a showroom?
For now Table Wear Props doesn’t have a showroom, but you can check the full catalog online and send an e-mail to this following address: hi@tablewearprops.com, in case you have any questions or need a quotation. After the props are chosen they can be picked up at our location in Lisbon.
How can I pay for my order?
Once your hire is ready to go, the next step is to process your payment, you can pay by cash, bank transfer or MbWay.
Payment can not be done through the website
Do you provide Food Styling, Prop Styling and Prop Pulling services?
Yes, you can hire our food styling or prop styling services that includes all the props needed for the project. In case you just need some prop sourcing, you can hire our prop curating services, all we need is a detailed creative brief, and any other relevant details. Once we’ve made an initial selection, we’ll send you a a prop proposal.
What is the renting process?
Renting from Table Wear Props is easy! You van browse all our props in the online catalog ( the listing is complete with photos, measurements, prices, and available quantities).
Once you have your order finalised, send us an e-mail with a print screen or link to your checkout shopping cart.
Props are rented on a first come, first serve basis.
We will set a pick up time to collect the props convenient for both parties. Upon collecting we’ll need the payment and rental contract agreed and signed (an ID document is needed). As for returning the props, another date will be set with a check of the condition of the props.
How should I return my props?
Please reuse and return all packing materials—straps, crates, bubble wrap, and bags. Pack everything back up just like we sent it to you, so we can avoid any damage (and those pesky extra charges)!
We take photos of all our items each time they are rented. If any item comes back in anything less than the condition it was rented at you will be charged a fee for repair and/or the cost of the item itself.
